Krista has 20 years of experience as a Paramedic in both the private ambulance
service and Fire Service. As one of the founders of SmartHeart, Krista brings a wealth of knowledge to every student she teaches.
Krista also takes a great interest in fitness. Krista has competed in various sports fields and is also a certified fitness trainer.
It should be no surprise that with the active life she leads, Krista also cares greatly about personal nutrition. Krista assists others as a nutritional consultant, helping others with health and nutrition concerns.

Tevis works for SmartHeart as a lead instructor, receiving her CPR Instructor certification through EMS Safety Services. Her goal is to help others learn CPR in a relaxed atmosphere.
Tevis currently works as a massage therapist, specializing in sports related injuries.
Tevis has many years of teaching experience prior to coming to SmartHeart as a Human Resources Trainer for doctors and transcriptionists at a medical transcription company.

Erik has 17 years experience as a Firefighter Paramedic, and currently serves as Battalion Chief for a local fire department. As one of the founders of SmartHeart, Erik also brings a wealth of experience to everyone he teaches.
Erik has many certifications and qualifications, most recognized as a Technical Rescue Specialist with the Urban Search and Rescue Team.
He has many years of teaching experience in the field, as well as the classroom setting. His goal is to provide hands on training in a fun learning environment.
